I love snow. Some of you hate snow. You put up holiday decorations on Nov. 1. Your friends say not until the day after Thanksgiving. It doesn’t matter. If it makes you happy, do it, and love it! Create a joy-filled world for you and your family.

As I designed the pages of our December issue, I reminisced about the days when my son was younger and Christmas was a little more magical. Spoiler alert: Not always so magical now that he’s a teen.

I highly recommend the Springfield-Greene County Library system’s Holiday Store. Going to the Library’s store was a tradition my mother started with my son, and he was delighted to pick out, pay for, and wrap his own gifts. The excitement on his face when it was time to open presents and he could proudly hand out his gifts was better than any Hallmark movie. And, I treasure those gifts to this day.

From all of us here in the Kids Directory Page Garden, we wish you and your family a merry Christmas and a very happy holiday season. Thank you for spending 2019 with us.
