15th Annual Pets and Pumpkins Family Festival, Springfield
Enjoy a festival… with your pet! The Pets and Pumpkins Family Festival is the largest pet parade in the area! The downtown square will have tons of fun with fall-themed activities, vendors, and a festive fall atmosphere. Your family (pets included!) will be sure to love the Pets and Pumpkins Family Festival!

What’s at the festival?
With paid admission, the attendees can take part in a costume contest and a walking parade! The costume parade line-up starts at 2:15p.m. on Park Central East next to Civil Kitchen
After you pay the admission fee, you can take part in all activities with no extra cost!
Any vendor stalls will sell products not included in the event.
Pet details
All local city ordinances on pets apply. Meaning pets must be leashed.
There will be pet and family-friendly vendors focused on both pet’s and people’s needs! This includes things like pet food and toys and other product and food stations for the non-kibble eaters in case you want a snack too. So make sure to bring some extra cash!
There will be water stations throughout the festival so don’t worry about your pet getting over heated.

Tickets will be purchased at the gate.

Pets & Pumpkins is a “Rain or Shine” event meaning it will not be canceled due to inclement weather.

Where Should I Park?
There will be various spots for you to park throughout Downtown Springfield. Parking for this event is first come first served.
Street parking is typically free but is harder to find.
There are also paid parking garages nearby.

Where does the money go?
Almost 100% of the money earned from the admission fees goes to local, non-profit children and animal organizations. This event helps to support children in foster care and to help find homes for animals in need.
