This October 4th, join the city of Niangua for its 4th annual free Fall Festival. This year features live music, free contests, artisan vendors, and a fundraiser for Niangua Betterment League. So pack your crew and come on out to experience this wonderful event!

A Taste of Niangua
All contests are free to enter. For the cook-off, any interested party can message the event on Facebook for additional details. If you want to participate in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest simply bring a carved or painted pumpkin for your chance to win. Judging for the costume contest takes place at 2 pm and has four different age groups. You only need to show up in costume to enter! The Pumpkin Prince and Princess ceremony is open to Niangua Pre-K through 5th grade students. Students will set up cans at the festival and one penny equals one vote! Money raised is split between the Niangua Betterment League and the child’s classroom.
It may be a good idea to bring a stroller for the comfort and safety of younger children. While there are no sidewalks, the event organizer notes that many visitors still use wheelchairs and strollers without problems. While this event welcomes service animals, they do ask that visitors leave pets at home. Some vendors may be cash only, so plan accordingly. Local artists will preform from 10 am-12 pm and The Countyline Band performs from 12 pm-3 pm. This event is located at 172 State Highway F. in Niangua. Visit their Facebook for additional information.
