54 Years of Chief Sarcoxie Days in Sarcoxie

This September 10th through the 14th, come to Sarcoxie for their free Chief Sarcoxie Days Festival. The town of Sarcoxie was initially called Centerville when it was founded in 1931, but was later renamed after Chief Sarcoxie of the Delaware tribe in 1839. This yearly event honors the town’s rich history with Native Americans.

  • Friday 12 pm-9:30 pm
  • Saturday 8 am-9 pm
  • Sunday 10:30 am-12 pm

It may be a good idea to bring a stroller for the comfort and safety of younger children. Some vendors may be cash only, so plan accordingly. This event will be held in downtown Sarcoxie square located near the Sarcoxie Veteran Memorial at 6th St and Center St.
